About Yasmin
I grew up running between my father’s painting pots and my mother’s designs scattered in our house. My childhood was a magical game filled with colours, shapes and ideas inspired by both the rural, natural life of my home in Germany, as well as Australia’s wild beauty where my two worlds had met.
Steiner school and intensive design studies gave me wings to fly filled with emotions from one idea to another! Soon my focus on aesthetics and details led me into the world of jewellery. There was nothing to stop me from pursuing my dreams which eventually led me to Geneva.
I was soon working for the Chopard company, designing successful collections as well as expanding my experiences and my knowledge of the field. After many years working at Chopard, my professional life took me to Bucherer with a new responsibility in designing some of their new lines of jewellery. Slowly my own personal ideas started to take more space, I felt this was the time to make my long-waited dream become a reality !

My Jewellry
Designing jewelry is like preparing an elaborate meal, it all depends on
the ingredients. If these are not of the finest quality, even the most elaborate presentation will not be successful. The moment in which our smell and taste senses come into contact with the food, it will reveal everything!
As a real gourmet, I prefer minimalism combined with high-quality materials for my design. My aesthetic demands call for harmony in the colours, tension in sensory moments, playful femininity and elegance in the end product.
In a time of fast pace, my priority is on individual jewellery that touches the heart of its wearer, building emotional bridges and sensitivity. The jewellery will become part of the wearer, an added expression of the personality to accompany him/her, a witness to their life story. A small, surprising contrast, such as a spicy red pepper note in a dark chocolate or a little lemon flavour in a sweet dessert! A little surprise can take you a long way, tastefully or visually! All worth a few playful moments.
